This adventure is not about producing perfect paintings or following a fixed path — it’s about showing up, exploring, and pushing yourself creatively alongside others.

Over seven days, both in the studio and outdoors, we’ll use watercolour not just as a technique, but as a way of looking, feeling, and making choices in the moment.

Curiosity, play, and stepping outside your current comfort zone will be part of the journey. Learning how to loosen up, let go of control, and respond to what’s in front of you is just as valuable as mastering brushwork or colour.

The programme is designed to help you experiment, take risks, and discover how accidents and surprises can open new creative directions.

Through landscapes, plein-air painting, and personal interpretation, you’ll explore essential ideas of composition, light, and atmosphere while embracing the unpredictability that makes art alive. The goal is not to follow a rigid plan, but to immerse yourself fully — to leave with fresh confidence, renewed imagination, and a body of work that reflects your own way of seeing.

Perched dramatically atop a rocky cliff over 1,000 m high, Fox House (known locally as Casa Guilla) is a historic 1,200‑year‑old medieval defensive building set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Pyrenees and Montsec ridge. Nestled within a UNESCO geopark and certified Starlight Reserve, this enchanting stone sanctuary offers panoramic views of valleys, vineyards, lakes, and forests—an immersive experience for all of the senses, and an ideal location to be inspired and get creative.

Once a garrison and farmhouse, today Fox House is a soulful 5* rural guesthouse featuring nine individually designed suites—all with en‑suite facilities, unique interior design and art collection —and generous communal spaces.

Guests delight in the soaring open-plan living area, antique-filled interiors, terraces, and a natural spring fed pool that floats on the edge of the world.

Solo Workshop Participant (Private Suite) – £2,600
Perfect if you’d like the privacy of your own suite and the freedom to immerse yourself fully in your creative journey. You’ll enjoy the complete programme — painting, excursions, yoga, sound bath, wine tasting, and more — with your own space to reflect and recharge.

Two Workshop Participants Sharing – £4,400 (£2,200 pp)
Ideal for friends, partners, or fellow artists who want to share the experience. You’ll both enjoy the full workshop, daily sessions, and all inclusions at a special shared rate. Creativity often grows stronger when you share it with someone else. We have 3 rooms that can accommodate twin bed set ups if needed.

Workshop Participant + Travel Companion – £4,000 (£2,200+ £1,800)
A wonderful option for couples where one paints and the other simply wants to relax and soak up the magic of Fox House. The participant enjoys the full art adventure, while the companion shares in the meals, wine, excursions, yoga, and cultural experiences — without the tuition or materials.
